Beyonce Knowles, who as recently named as one half of Forbes’ top-earning celebrity couple along side Jay-Z, rocked the stage at 2008 American Music Awards. She performed her new hit single “Singles Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” at the Nokia Theatre.

It was a fantastic night for Rihanna and Chris Brown at The American Music Awards ceremony where they took home two of the night’s biggest winners. Rihanna won both the Favorite Soul/R&B Female Artist and Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist and Chris Brown got Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist, Favorite Soul/ R&B Male Artist and Artist of the Year. The awards were held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

The Pop Celebrity mother and still successful singer Britney Spears unveiled an all-new commercial promo of her upcoming sixth studio album, Circus. The album can be find in stores on the pop singer’s 27th birthday this December 2. The album’s first single, entitled “Womanizer,” was produced by the Atlanta production team The Outsyders and was the “Biggest Jump in Billboard History,” sprinting from No. 96 to No. 1 in one week, for Billboard Hot 100.

The young sensation Taylor Swift’s Fearless album sold 592,000 copies in its first week of debut. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the Grammy-nominated country singer’s album is the third-biggest first week album sales of 2008.
