Linkin Park

According to a new report, the singer Busta Rhymes wants to record a new track with rockers Linkin Park. An interesting collaboration or not, for example Hip-Hip/Rap mogul Jay-Z teamed with the famous rock band Linkin Park and had a massive hit, Numb/Encore in 2004. That’s what Rhymes is hoping for, and he is currently recording new track It Looks Like We Made It with the group. The song will appear on Busta Rhymes’ upcoming album titled Back On My Bs, and the hip-hop star anxious to reveal the powerful track to the world.

This song speaks volumes to the globe - it ain’t just about the ‘hood, it ain’t just about the suburbs, it’s about everybody. This is one of those songs that can’t be described better than touching the souls of the common people.

Avril Lavigne “limoncello, vodka and beer” inspired her for latest album

avril-lavigne ireland

Here is a detail you never thought of at least I didn’t, Canadian punk singer Avril Lavigne has revealed she was drunk when she recorded many of the songs for her latest album. Who said she is not that complicated? I assumed and expected that people who are in the spotlight should give a good example not brag about how drunk they were at some point in their life when they shouldn’t. During an interview magazine, Avril admitted that she frequently consumed “Jager, limoncello, vodka and beer” before heading to recording sessions for The Best Damn Thing. However, Avril Lavigne insisted saying she would never drink before going on stage because that will certainly make her forget the lyrics.

Some how this reminds me of what I’ve read recently in Avril Lavigne blog, she lately has been accused by musicians for ripping off their lyrics and songs, and said about this issue “I do not deserve this negative press and attention. I take pride in the songs that I write and appreciate the opportunities to work with some great writers and musicians.”

Avril Lavigne sued by U.S. songwriters over Girlfriend

Avril Lavigne

Reports say that Canadian punk princess Avril Lavigne is being sued by U.S. songwriters who claim her smash hit Girlfriend sounds suspiciously like a track they took up the charts in the 1970s. The lawsuit filed July 2 in California’s Northern Federal District Court, alleges striking similarities to the 1979 Rubinoos song I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend. Avril is not the only one mentioned in the lawsuit, the group’s founder, Tommy Dunbar also names Lavigne’s publishing company, Avril Lavigne Publishing, and her songwriting partner, Dr. Luke.

Avril Lavign’ manager McBride, also CEO of Nettwerk Music Group, said that the musicologist he hired to study both tracks has found them completely different songs, however he admitted he would consider settling the suit out of court if the costs of defending the case turns up to be too high.
