Ricky Martin gets four Latin Grammy nominations

The organizers of Latin Grammy awards revealed yesterday that Ricky Martin got four nominations for the album “MTV Unplugged,” while Dominican singer-songwriter Juan Luis Guerra got five nominations organizers of the awards said on Wednesday. The two singers are being followed by the Orishas, with three nominations, Colombian Aterciopelados, and Venezuelan Franco de Vita, and Miguel Bose and Daddy Yankee, having two each. Other celebrities who are included in the nominee list are Beyonce and Shakira, Ricky Martin, Calle 13, Ana Belen, Laura Pausini, Elvis Crespo, Amaury Gutierrez, Jose Luis Perales, Gustavo Cerati, Ivy Queen, and Sergio Reis.

According to the news, The Black Eyed Peas shined at American Music Awards two days ago but not for being present at the event, but for receiving three awards, best rap/hip-hop album, best rap/hip-hop group, and best soul/R&B group.
