50 Cent

After keeping it quite for a while, the hip-hop/rapper heavyweight 50 Cent has spoken out about breaking his promise to retire from rap after his album chart defeat by Kanye West. 50 Cent defended himself and revealed it’s “impossible” for rappers to quit.

Hip-Hop star 50 Cent was reportedly facing retirement due to album battle with rival Kanye West. By real name Curtis Jackson, gambled his music career, saying that he will quit if his new album Curtis won’t outsell West’s Graduation. The records were released on September 11th and 50 Cent found himself in the UK charts at number two right after Kanye West who is placed at number one. Despite losing the battle in September, 50 says he won’t be retiring.

I don’t know if it’s possible for a rapper to retire, rappers are like fighters. They condition themselves to be the best. All rappers think they are the best. And they are just waiting for everyone else to recognise they are the best. You’ll see them come back and come back.

Linkin Park

According to a new report, the singer Busta Rhymes wants to record a new track with rockers Linkin Park. An interesting collaboration or not, for example Hip-Hip/Rap mogul Jay-Z teamed with the famous rock band Linkin Park and had a massive hit, Numb/Encore in 2004. That’s what Rhymes is hoping for, and he is currently recording new track It Looks Like We Made It with the group. The song will appear on Busta Rhymes’ upcoming album titled Back On My Bs, and the hip-hop star anxious to reveal the powerful track to the world.

This song speaks volumes to the globe - it ain’t just about the ‘hood, it ain’t just about the suburbs, it’s about everybody. This is one of those songs that can’t be described better than touching the souls of the common people.
