Spice Girls

Who really wants the 2007 version of the Spice Girls? It seems that the five British stars made their reunion debut recently in Los Angeles. According to a report, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was the scene for Mel C, Mel B, Geri, Victoria, and Emma to get together and make some annoying music, I might say.

The spicy group performed two songs for the lingerie show, their new single “Headlines” as well as their hit from 1998 “Stop.” If you find it interesting, the Spice Girls was wearing World War II-era tunics and military caps.

In other Celebrity news, Spice Girls, Kylie Minogue and Westlife all helped the BBC’s Children In Need raise a record breaking £19 million yesterday night.Spice Girls performed their new song ‘Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)’ from Los Angeles, Leona Lewis, Annie Lennox and the Sugababes also performed on the TV fundraiser, and the charity event raised $19 million by the end of the night.

Beyonce

It has been reported that R&B Celebrity Beyonce Knowles was forced to cancel her first ever concert in Kuala Lumpur on November 1. Although it was not confirmed, the real reason may be a Muslim group who protested against Beyonce concert. The country is known for the strict rules performers have to remember. According to Billboard.com, there must be no hugging or kissing audience members of the audience or artists, no jumping or shouting, no throwing objects on stage or at the audience, and no foul language.

The performers should have their cloths on in this way less skin is revealed, also they may not have obscene or drug-related images or messages. It seems organizers were waiting for Beyonce Knowles to agree with the new rules before heading the stage.

In other Celebrity news, Beyonce will release a DVD with a stunning live performance from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The DVD is set to hit stores November 27th. The concert features a guest appearance of celebrities like, hip-hop mogul Jay-Z and her Destiny’s Child ex-bandmates Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland.

Gwen Stefani to cancel her Malaysian show

Tuesday, August 7th, 2007

According to the reports, the Celebrity singer Gwen Stefani, who is currently on the road with her ‘Sweet Escape’ tour, might cancel her Malaysian show. Why? Well, unfortunately for her a Muslim group branded her as “indecent” and “obscene”. Gwen Stefani, mother of one child, is to perform in Kuala Lumpur this month on August 21 but the National Union of Malaysian Muslim Students don’t want the concert because Gwen’s image offends Islamic beliefs. Other stops of Gwen Stefani are Australia, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, China and Hawaii and Europe.

Her video clips promoting the event are too obscene. We want the organizers to cancel the concert, failing which we will ask the authorities to intervene.

Jennifer Lopez and Fergie to perform at Fashion Rocks

Thursday, June 28th, 2007

Jennifer LopezAccording to the news, celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Fergie, Fall Out Boy and Usher will perform at the fourth annual Fashion Rocks concert, which will took place at Radio City Music Hall on Sept. 6. The event celebrates the relationship between music and fashion and will be hosted by Jeremy Piven. Fashion Rocks concert can be watched the following night in a two-hour special on CBS. Among celebrities who will attend the show are Aerosmith, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, Avril Lavigne, Ludacris, Martina McBride and Santana.

The synergy between fashion and music is even more pronounced now than it was when we first created Fashion Rocks three years ago. Each year the line between the two becomes increasingly blurred as more musicians launch fashion lines and more designers align themselves with musicians.
