Eminem

Hip-Hop rapper/producer Eminem has filed a lawsuit for the second time against online download store Apple’s iTunes because he has made it clear that the company it has no permission to sell his songs. According to The Detroit News, Eminem asked that demanded his songs to be remove as soon as possible from the online store, but iTunes has refused.

Eminem had previously filed a lawsuit against Apple claiming it used one of his songs in a television advertisement without his permission. It was one of the first launched for the iTunes Music Store, 2004, and featured a 10-year-old singing “Lose Yourself.”

An unconscious lady identified with her iPod serial number

ipods

Not long ago a lady who was on her morning jogging in San Francisco, USA was hit by a speeding car and fell unconscious. The Police found her iPod and identified her with the help of the serial number on it. Anyway best thing she had her iPod with her all the time till the police came. From the facts of the incident we have to suspect that the lady was so absorbed with her music that she forgot her surroundings and got herself hit by a speeding car. That it’s not an improper use of the gadget!

Fortunately for her, the iPod which put her in that precarious and life endangering situation helped her to be identified, however it’s another weird but a rare use of an iPod. We have to feel sorry for the lady and hope she pulls through the nightmare, but what’s to say about the savage who dashed a poor lady and just wheeled off without even caring to know if she is alive or not?

Lesson to be learnt: you got the iPod for helping you in many ways but don’t put the iPod or other gadgets to improper use to the extremes of your life being endangered. Better carry IDs on you always whenever you venture outside.

Beyonce is now available with her new album on Apple’s iTunes, although it hasn’t been released yet. The R&B celebrity Beyonce Knowles will release her upcoming album ‘B’Day’ on 5th September. Until then we’ve already seen her new video of ‘Deja Vu’ single, a collaboration between the R&B singer Beyonce and hip-hop artist Jay-Z. Her new album will also include collaborations with T.I. and Ne-Yo.

The new album of the R&B celebrity is available for pre-order on iTunes. It includes the video for ‘Deja Vu’, three bonus tracks, the mini-documentary ‘Behind the Scenes with Beyonce’, a digital booklet and two additional songs ‘Lost Yo Mind’ and ‘Deja Vu’. Now honestly, she is a diva, she’s a great singer with an amazing voice but, isn’t she exaggerating a little bit with her dance moves?

Apple Computer is Hardware Company of the Year

According to PC World magazine, Apple Computers is the Hardware Company of the Year. On 100 Best Products of 2006 chart, Apple had five products: the iPod nano on number 4, Boot Camp on number 10, the Mac mini placed on number 35, the iPod wins the 36 spot, and iTunes which stays on number 43. The number one spot is taken by Intel’s Core Duo processor, found in Apple’s iMac, MacBook Pro and Mac mini. It is a bad year for Sony because they got the award for Worst Company of the Year.

After all, if we only think a little bit at the iPod’s popularity, Apple Computer deserves to be the Hardware Company of the Year. I think they really had a great year and hopefully they will continue to surprise us with many other inventions.
