Will.i.am album Songs About Girls

Will.i.am

The Grammy Award winning frontman/producer of the Black Eyed Peas Will.i.am, released Los Angeles, California USA 26 September 2007 his first solo album called Songs About Girls. According to will.i.am, the album “is a semi-autobiographical conceptual piece about falling into and out of love”, a failed seven-year relationship and heading to new ones, anyway the album takes the listener into Will’s sensitive side. I can say I wasn’t impressed at all because unfortunately, most of the songs sound the same which makes the album an ordinary one. “The Donque Song,” feat Snoop Dogg is the worst track, the first single from the album, “I Got It from My Mama,” fails to impress… Lets say that there are a few pretty songs on his album like Ain’t it pretty, Over, Fantastic but don’t expect much.

The main conclusion is that Will.i.am rushed into this album because its not finished, its incomplete - whit a few changes he could possibly have a done a better album if the rest of the proposed cameos, including Busta Rhymes, Too $hort, Ludacris and others, actually made it to the final release.
