According to Financial Times newspaper, Warner Music plans sell James Blunt’s new album also through social networking website MySpace. The online users will be able to listen to tracks on the All The Lost Souls album for free on Blunt’s MySpace page before his release. The album will be available to download for $9.99 (£5). The download would be supported on the Apple’s popular iPod range of digital media players. Customers would also receive a compact disc version in the mail. The attempt aims to decrease piracy and marks a new way by the music industry to sell tracks to consumers. Warner Music is yet to confirm the rumor.
