Kanye West and Amy Winehouse top winners at Britain’s Mobo Awards

As you already now Britain’s Mobo Awards ceremony was held in Greenwich, London recently and celebrities like Kanye West, who was named best hip-hop artist at the Music of Black Origin and Amy Winehouse, who was named best British female artist, were top winners at the event. Kanye who recently won the album battle with rival 50 Cent, also won the MOBO’s best video prize for his single “Stronger”. As a recall 50 Cent initially canceled his European tour, which included visits to France, Germany and the U.K., where he was to appear at the MOBO event. However now 50 Cent has smashed speculation that he is to retire by announcing plans for a new UK tour.
Amy Winehouse sang two songs during the evening, “Tears Dry on Their Own” and “Me and Mr. Jones.” The jazz singer has canceled concerts and postponed her U.S. and Canada tour because of her treatment for alcohol and drug abuse.
