Reports say, Sheryl Crow and Avril Lavigne are organising an all-female music festival which will take place at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine, California, on October 27. Sheryl Crow and Avril Lavigne will headline alongside solo artist Fiona Apple and rising stars Sara Bareilles, Antigone Rising and Colbie Caillat performing for the GirlFrenzy festival which will last all day.

In other Celebrity news, the 45-year-old Sherly Crow who split with former boyfriend Lance Armstrong last year (2006), has adopted a four-month-old baby boy in May this year and named him Wyatt Steven Crow. In a short time after that Sherly and Wyatt appeared on the cover of OK! Weekly magazine in America.

It has been confirmed that pop singer Nelly Furtado will join the list of celebrities who will perform at the MTV Video Music Awards. Others who have been added to the same list are Gym Class Heroes, rapper Common, Lil’ Wayne, T-Pain, Cee-Lo and Daniel Merriweather, joining celebrities like like Timbaland, Kanye West, Fall Out Boy, Chris Brown, Amy Winehouse, the Foo Fighters and Rihanna. Meanwhile Timbaland is preparing some surprises for the ceremony, according to MTV. The event will be held at Palms Hotel and Casino during a Las Vegas ceremony on September 9.

Rumor has it, Britney Spears is working on a surprise performance with magician Criss Angel for this year MTV Video Music Awards. Other details are yet to be announced, till then check out VMA nominations.

Reports say that the actress/singer Lindsay Lohan will take more seriously her music career now that her movie career seems to on hold due to her legal troubles. The person who is insisting to get Lindsay back in the studio is Casablanca label head Tommy Mottola. The pop singer third album is in the Lindsay schedule while until recently the ‘actress’ was really busy with her film shootings.

Following her two DUI arrests and all the bad publicity Lindsay Lohan should be aware that she needs to clean a little her hard-partying reputation before she unveils another album. The record will follow up Lindsay 2005’s ‘A Little More Personal’.

In other Celebrity news, Lindsay felt sexy in Maxim’s 10th anniversary September issue, which means Lindsay Lohan’s third rehab isn’t affecting her mind and spirit that much. Lets not forget that optimist thoughts are the perfect cure in everything.

Is the competition off? Yahoo news reports that hip-hop/rapper Kanye West did not finished his forthcoming album Graduation. The clock is ticking and despite the album deadline Kanye is changing his mind almost every day. The Celebrity’s album should hit the stores in just over three weeks, but the way things are going Kanye West’s third record may not enter in the competition with rival rapper 50 Cent’s Curtis and country singer Kenny Chesney’s Just Who I Am: Poets and Pirates on 11 September. Who knows what surprises are waiting for us, time will tell. In other Celebrity news, Rapper Kanye West has scored his first UK No 1 single with Stonger, as Elvis Presley returned to the top of the album charts 30 years after his death.

The thing is, I just never know when to stop. The track-listing isn’t finalised as I’ve changed my mind again today. I just heard some parts out there that I’m wasn’t happy with. I’m always tweaking things here and there but I am being told I have to finish it today. It was originally meant to be out in two weeks. I would never have finished it by then. The mastering company told me, ‘If it’s not finished by today then your s**t won’t be in the stores’.

The British news star Lily Allen has been forced to postpone her upcoming US tour because she has problems with her visa. Lily Allen was recently searched and detained for five hours, at the Los Angles airport after being stopped by U.S. Immigration officials. She is currently working visa revocation and this situation got her so mad that during her performance at Engalnd’s V Festival two days ago the singer started hitting off on President Bush. At the festival which was held at Weston Park in Stafford, Lily said, “this next one is about people who are awkward on the train, U.S. immigration officials and George Bush in general.”

I am so disappointed that I won’t be able to come to the States at this time. I was really looking forward to playing these shows and being part of the Video Music Awards. I want my fans to know that I’ll be back as soon as I possibly can!
