Britney Spears using her own cash for music video “Get Back”
No need to waste any time, the pop Celebrity Britney Spears is using her own cash to bring to life to her music career. The singer gave away $30,000 to make her latest music video “Get Back.” Sources claim Britney “funded the promo for comeback single Get Back because she was going against the wishes and advice of her label, Jive Records.” No other details are know, hopefully the video worthed the amount of money Britney used.
In other Celebrity news, Britney Spears has sold the Malibu, California, home she shared with ex-husband Kevin Federline to an anonymous buyer for $12 million. Britney’s other California mansion, in Beverly Hills, remains on the market for just under $7.5 million, according to Life and Style magazine.
There’s no real reason for her to pay for a video herself unless it’s about creative control. If the label pays for the video, they hire the director and the rest of the creative team. I suspect this is her wanting to steam ahead and answer her critics now, while her label wants to wait.
