According to the news, Hip-Hop Celebrity 50 Cent revealed recently that unlike his first two albums, his third features collaborations of pop stars like Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, Akon and Mary J. Blige. The upcoming album, reportedly called “Curtis,” is due out in September 4 after initially supposed to be released on Tuesday. The rapper 50 Cent said in an interview the reason of his album delay is his record label, Interscope. Anyway, about the appearances on his upcoming album, 50 Cent mention that previously he wanted to prove that he could stand on his own, without celebrity help, which means that this is the time for some well done collaborations between him and other music celebrities.

In other celebrity news, 50 Cent who is currently in a child support legal battle with Shaniqua Tompkins, refuses to attack his former girlfriend in his music because it would upset his son Marquise.

R&B Celebrities Jennifer Hudson and Beyonce shined at the seventh annual Black Entertainment Television (BET) awards which took place at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium on Tuesday. The Oscar-winning star Jennifer Hudson receive two prizes, named as Best Actress and Best New Artist for her role in Dreamgirls. Hudson’s Dreamgirls co-star Beyonce also got two awards for Irreplaceable - which was named Video of The Year - and Best Female R&B Artist, despite being nominated in six categories.
Hip-hop/R&B star Ne-Yo, who was named Best Male R&B Artist, while legendary performer Diana Ross was given a Lifetime Achievement award, with Stevie Wonder, Erykah Badu and Chaka Khan paying individual tributes to the star. Anyway, celebrities like 50 Cent, T.I. Beyonce, Ne-Yo, Fabolous, Diddy, Keyshia Cole and Lil’ Kim were among the stars who performed at the award ceremony.
