Hip-Hop mogul Diddy slams Cassie ‘dropped by label’ rumours

Cassie

According to the news, Hip-Hop mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs denied reports he has dropped Cassie from his record label. The Pop/R&B singer Cassie entered in Bad Boy Records family in 2005 and her debut single Me + U reached number three in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 charts last year, however reports suggested that Cassie had been left outside label because her debut album sold 300,000 copies, which is absurd if you ask me. Cassie is a girl with a lot of potential and I refuse to believe Bad Boy Records bosses would ever consider to drop such a treasure.

Cassie’s definitely not dropped from Bad Boy. She’s in the studio (working on her next album). So many people are excited to be working with her. She was just in the studio with Kanye West. She’s going to be doing some stuff with Pharrell (Williams). People really understand that she does have some talent and it takes some time to mould it. Everybody’s not perfect. I think she had some rough shows, just being nervous. Sometimes people have to break out of that.
But she’s out of that now. She went over to Europe with me and killed the MTV Europe Music Awards. She has her swagger on.
