Hip-Hop mogul Diddy slams Cassie ‘dropped by label’ rumours

Cassie

According to the news, Hip-Hop mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs denied reports he has dropped Cassie from his record label. The Pop/R&B singer Cassie entered in Bad Boy Records family in 2005 and her debut single Me + U reached number three in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 charts last year, however reports suggested that Cassie had been left outside label because her debut album sold 300,000 copies, which is absurd if you ask me. Cassie is a girl with a lot of potential and I refuse to believe Bad Boy Records bosses would ever consider to drop such a treasure.

Cassie’s definitely not dropped from Bad Boy. She’s in the studio (working on her next album). So many people are excited to be working with her. She was just in the studio with Kanye West. She’s going to be doing some stuff with Pharrell (Williams). People really understand that she does have some talent and it takes some time to mould it. Everybody’s not perfect. I think she had some rough shows, just being nervous. Sometimes people have to break out of that.
But she’s out of that now. She went over to Europe with me and killed the MTV Europe Music Awards. She has her swagger on.

According to the news, Pop Celebrity Justin Timberlake has again mention to the press that he would like to work with Coldplay, calling them “the modern Beatles”. As we already know Justin Timberlake has previously express his admiration and wish to work with the rockers, but no collaboration between them just yet. At that time reports said Chris Martin has turned down Justin’s offer. Coldplay are currently recording at a new LP while Justin, is preparing for a series of shows in London next month. In other music news, Justin Timberlake latest video for “LoveStoned/I Think She Knows”, was directed by Robert Hales. I personally like the song, but the video is a little to cold and incomplete, but hey that’s just my conclusion. Meanwhile Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were seen holding hands through the streets of Copehagen.

Coldplay are the modern Beatles, so I’d love to do a duet with them - especially Chris Martin.

Jennifer LopezAccording to the news, celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Fergie, Fall Out Boy and Usher will perform at the fourth annual Fashion Rocks concert, which will took place at Radio City Music Hall on Sept. 6. The event celebrates the relationship between music and fashion and will be hosted by Jeremy Piven. Fashion Rocks concert can be watched the following night in a two-hour special on CBS. Among celebrities who will attend the show are Aerosmith, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, Avril Lavigne, Ludacris, Martina McBride and Santana.

The synergy between fashion and music is even more pronounced now than it was when we first created Fashion Rocks three years ago. Each year the line between the two becomes increasingly blurred as more musicians launch fashion lines and more designers align themselves with musicians.

Rihanna - Shut Up & Drive (Video)

Thursday, June 28th, 2007

Here is the second video and single from Rihanna’s “Good Girl Gone Bad”. The bad thing about it, is that the album remains too “simple”. I mean the name of her album “Good Girl Gone Bad” doesn’t reflect the tracks, which in my oppinion is disappointing. The changed hair and cloths are not always enough. Please share you thoughts.
