Rihanna new single ‘Umbrella’ and new album
Did you miss her? R&B star Rihanna will release of her third album in just two years! How she explains it? For my surprise, Rihanna revealed her record label bosses at Def Jam are sure of her talent and they will continue to be in the charts with her singles and albums. Rihanna’ yet untitled album comes out in June, and the R&B star revealed that for his album the sound has changed, “it’s a lot edgier than the rest of the stuff that anyone has heard from me before […] it’s a lot sexier.”
I’ve listen her newest single, “Umbrella” (featuring Jay-Z) produced by C. Tricky Stewart and I have to say is just an ordinary song, nothing special! I was actually shocked when I read what Def Jam President Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ Carter said about Rihanna’s album : “it shows such growth for her as an artist. If you listen to the lyrics to that song, you know the depth and how far she’s come.”
It’s true I haven’t heard Rihanna’s album, but till then I will have my doubts.

This is anything but an ordinary song. it not that old regular r&B song with hip hop feel that will play in every urban radio format and bump in every club in the hood across the nation.. it’s got that HUGE sound.. usually when our ears on channeled to the street anything else just sound regular or wack to some.. I the song has the potential to go far and cross many markets… I said it like Jay Z the song definitely shows her growth.. Hay Mr. Carter that’s from one Carter to another
