World Music Awards

According to Britain’s The Sun newspaper, the superstar Michael Jackson will recreate his classic ‘Thriller’ video at the World Music Awards because the singer will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the ‘Thriller’ album. Isn’t that something! The show will be authentic as his costumes will be designed by fashion designer Roberto Cavalli. The 2006 World Music Awards will take place in two days at London’s Earls Court being hosted by Lindsay Lohan, while celebrities like Beyonce Knowles, Mary J. Blige, Katie Melua and Andrea Bocelli are scheduled to perform.

Michael Jackson who is proud to have the biggest-selling album of all time, ‘Thriller’ ( 40 million copies ) will be honored with the Diamond Award. The award is given only to singers who have sold more than 100 million albums.

Jackson has definitely told organizers he will be performing. His dancers have already started rehearsals. He will close the show with ‘Thriller’. It will be a complete recreation of the video.
