There is no news to us the fact that Hip-Hop Celebrity Jay-Z is planning a comeback album, an album which is rumored to be set for release. It seems that Jay-Z choose Hype Williams to direct the first music video for his comeback album, the director hinted to Billboard. Hype Although no official details have been confirmed by Def Jam, producers Pharrell Williams and Kanye West are also said to be working on the album. Meanwhile at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards Hip-Hop star Kanye West presented Hype Williams - who feels like he accomplished a lot in music videos - with the Video Vanguard award for his work on memorable clips starring the Notorious B.I.G., Tupac, Jay-Z and Mariah Carey, saying “If you want to be No. 1, you gotta work hard, you gotta pray hard and you gotta get Hype Williams.”

He’s obviously someone who I’ve admired my whole career and he’s one of my favorites to work with because he’s such a perfectionist.
