After seeing Snoop Dogg featuring with other celebrities (The Pussycat Dolls for example), is now time for the hip-hop/rap celebrity to start a new solo project. The new album of Snoop Dogg is set to be released on Oct. 17 and is called “Blue Carpet Treatment”. It seems like for the new Doggystyle/Geffen solo album, the hip-hop/rap artist collaborated with many great artists like Stevie Wonder on a remake of a song called ‘Have a Talk With God’, The Game for ‘Gang Banging 101′ track, R. Kelly for ‘That’s That Sh*t’, Brandy, E-40 and Daz & Kurupt and producers like Neptunes, Timbaland, Rick Rock and Dr. Dre.
For the next hip-hop/rap album, Snoop Dogg will have to pick 16 tracks of 300 songs recorded. The lead single, is a collaboration with Cypress Hill’s frontman B-Real, a track called “Vato” (the Mexican slang for homie or homeboy), and it’s a production of the Neptunes. This single talks about the conflict between African-Americans and Latinos in certain areas of California.
