RIAA: Youtube & Google Video share music illegally

According to RIAA, which is against Internet piracy revealed that the newest way to share music illegally online is via music video’s from Youtube and Google Video. RIAA revealed that on the two sites Youtube and Google Video it can be found unlicensed music video’s that were recorded with TiVo or other Digital Video Recorders. Due to the manner explained above, RIAA has previously issued cease-and-desist letters to Youtube users for uploading videos’ that are against copyright laws and while many video’s are removed quickly, the video’s are often resubmitted within days.
A lawsuit between RIAA, Youtube and even more Google Video would be a really hard one, but it seems that one possible solution for RIAA is if Youtube and others to implement content-filtering in order to find and prevent video’s that infringe upon copyright from being uploaded to the site.
