Rihanna is no longer number one on Billboard Hot 100 chart. This week the hip-hop artist, Chamillionaire, is the one who enjoys the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with the hip-hop song ‘Ridin’, a collaboration with Krayzie Bone. This week the pop celebrity, Rihanna, fall down on number three after three weeks in which she topped Billboard Hot 100 chart. It seems like they switch places because the last week’s number three is now number one on Billboard Hot 100 Chart - the hip-hop singer Chamillionaire.

Creative vs. Apple.jpg

After finding out that Creative sued Apple over the iPods and iPod nanos importation and sale after importation into the United States, in the same day that Creative did this, Apple sued iPod rival, Creative Technology claiming that Creative Labs, the U.S. division of Creative Technology, infringes four patents in its hand-held digital players.

Phil O’Shaughnessy, a spokesman for Creative, said that Creative proactively held discussions with Apple in their efforts to explore amicable solutions and that ‘at no time during these discussions or at any other time did Apple mention to they the patents it raised in its lawsuit’. Anyway, the Apple’s iPod holds more the 75 per cent of the U.S. market while Creative controls less then 10 per cent.

It seems like Apple has violated Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 because of the iPods and iPod nanos importation and sale after importation into the United States, that infringe U.S. Patent 6,928,433, which Creative refers to as the ‘Zen Patent’. This is what it’s all about! Creative filed a complaint with the U.S. International Trade Commission against Apple to stop sales, marketing, importation or sale after importation into the United States for iPod and iPod Nano products. This is not the only complaint that Creative filed against Apple. The second complaint is about injunction and increased damages for Apple Computer Inc.’s willful infringement of the Zen Patent.

Kelly Rowland Album Delayed To Avoid Beyonce

Kelly Rowland

According to the news, Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland will have to stay in line for releasing her second solo album. The singer manager Mathew Knowles - Beyonce’s father, has decided that is better if Kelly’s album will delayed until next year, in this way it doesn’t clash with Destiny’s Child bandmate Beyonce Knowles’ next LP.

Despite the fact that Kelly’s album is being finished and ready for release, Beyonce’s new album is due later this year, so until next year Kelly can ad to her album better song or songs if she pleases.

We want to make sure our marketing strategy is a multi-tiered approach that capitalises on the synergies afforded by her other projects. Everyone is pleased with the record Kelly made.
