Kelly Rowland, one of the members of Destiny’s Child, has an upcoming R&B album which is set to be release on July 11 via Columbia/Sony Urban Music. This is her second solo album, called ‘My story:Kelly Rowland’, being the follow-up to her 2002 solo debut ‘Simply Deep’, an R&B album which grabbed No. 12 on The Billboard 200 and sold about 600,000 units in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The R&B celebrity, Kelly Rowland said that this new album is more personal and that the record is urban because the R&B singer wanted to go back to her roots.
