Darryl McDaniels, DMC from Run-DMC, released new hip-hop album last month that it will be released in UK on May 29th. DMC’s solo debut album is called ‘Checks, Thugs and Rock N Roll’ for which he collaborated with many celebrities like: his friend from Run DMC - Rev. Run, Doug E. Fresh, Joey Kramer and Tom Hamilton of Aerosmith, Elliot Easton of The New Cars, Gary Dourdan of C.S.I., Kid Rock, Romeo Antonion, DJ Lethal, Ms. Jade, and Napoleon.
For the first single, ‘Just Like Me’ the hip-hop artist DMC got Sarah McLachlan, to help him out because it seems like DMC wanted to commit suicide in 1997 but he listened to ‘Angel’ song by Sarah McLachlan this being the element which saved his life. The song is about DMC’s struggle to adjust to finding out that he was adopted.
