The rap artist, Cassidy, will release a new album at the end of the year but his first single is expected to be out this summer. The new album still has no name, due via producer Swizz Beatz’s Full Surface/J imprint. A new rap single was released in February, a song named ‘Cassidy (The Anthem)’, before he even go out of the prison. Last month he has been released from the prison where he stayed for eight months. It seems like the new rap album will not be entirely about Cassidy’s experience in jail. The rap artist says that he will be aware that his lyrics can influence people so Cassidy’ll try to use his power in a positive way.
Wednesday, April 12, rap singer honored an invitation from ‘Angie Martinez Show’ where he talked about his third new album and about his jail experience. The rap artist, Cassidy stayed eight months in prison convicted of involuntary manslaughter and aggravated assault this past January.
