Prince tops Billboard 200 with his R&B album

Prince grabbed number one on Billboard 200 Chart with his newest album called ‘3121′, an album that has a pretty good success and which represents the R&B singer’s first album to debut at number one on Billboard 200 Chart. The R&B album has sold about 183,000 copies Stateside and the number continues to increase every day. This is what made Prince’s ‘3121′ album to be first on Billboard 200 and Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. This is fourth R&B album of Prince which touch number one on Billboard’s chart, in the following of the next three albums: ‘Purple Rain’ (1984), ‘Around The World In A Day’ (1985) and ‘Batman’ (1989).

Prince’s number one R&B album on Billboard 200 made Soundtrack - ‘High School Musical’ to fall down one place, on number two, and James Blunt’s album ‘Back to Bedlam’ stepped back from number 2 on number 3. Concerning Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart, there’s a new entry on number 2 - B.G. with his new album ‘The Heart Of Tha Streetz, Vol. 2 (I Am What I Am)’. Last week’s number 1 - E-40 ‘My Ghetto Report Card’ album - had a big falling on number five this week.
