Macy Gray

Macy Gray will release a new album called ‘Big’, an album which might be one of the best albums of 2006. R&B celebrity Macy Gray said this is definitely the best album she has ever made, having hip-hop, R&B, rock & roll, old Folk music influences. She wanted to bring some new beats, a new sound in music. It seems like she made it and her new album really is great - at least this is what she told us.

The new R&B album has productions of Justin Timberlake and Black Eyed Peas member Will.I.Am - the self-called ‘Jawbreakers’ - and collaborations with Natalie Cole, Outkast, Sleepy Brown and Whiteleaf. The R&B singer, Macy Gray declared that having a lot of guests wasn’t necessary.

This is definitely the best album I’ve ever made. It’s going to have everything: Hip-Hop, R&B, Rock & Roll… even, like, old Folk music. We managed to come up with some new beats, so it’s real hot. [...] Natalie Cole is on the album. We don’t need a lot of guests. The music is so hot that it speaks for itself.
