Lollapalooza 2006 with Kanye West
Hip-hop celebrity Kanye West will perform this year at Lollpalooza Music Festival next to other more then 120 singers like Common, Matisyahu, the rock band Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Manu Chao, Wilco, Death Cab For Cutie, The Flaming Lips, Wilco, Queens of the Stone Age, The Shin or Iron & Wine, other celebrities are expected to be announced soon.
The Lollapalooza Festival will take place in Chicago at Grant Park - the same like last year - on 4-6 August more than 30,000 fans attending each day of last year’s two-day festival - which has been running for 14 years.
I want to see Kanye West, the Chili Peppers and The Raconteurs - Jack White’s new band.[…] We want the fans to discover and explore. That’s what Lollapalooza is all about: sounds of all genres swirling about as you walk through the expanse of Grant Park.
