Apple puts volume limiters to iPod

Apple has added downloadable ‘volume control’ software, some volume limiters to the iPods, as a protection for our ears against the damage that loud music can cause if you listen to it for a long period of time. This new software part can be used with fifth generation iPods plus iPod Nano and gives parents the possibility to chose the volume level of the children’s iPods locking them in with a combination code.
Apple company received complaints concerning the hearing problems. This situation got so far that an iPod user thinks about suing Apple over claims that the MP3 players can cause hearing loss. Like always, Apple found solutions for their ‘unhappy’ clients by making these volume limiters.
With the increased attention in this area, we want to offer customers an easy to use option to set their own personal volume limit.
