60 GB Video iPod

According to a research note from American Technology Research and other reports, Apple would like to replace 60GB iPod with a new model. The sells for video 60 GB iPod slowed down lately so the company, Apple, decided to replace the iPod with a new model by the end of April. The bad sales means either it could be discontinued, either replaced ‘around that time frame’.

Analyst Shaw Wu declared that the solution might be a new widescreen video iPod with Bluetooth headphones which might be release not in April but ‘as early as the June quarter’.

The most interesting development here is that Apple has notified its distributors that its high-end $399 60GB video iPod is ‘at risk’ until the end of April, meaning it could be discontinued and/or replaced around that time frame.

Apple puts volume limiters to iPod

iPod Nano

Apple has added downloadable ‘volume control’ software, some volume limiters to the iPods, as a protection for our ears against the damage that loud music can cause if you listen to it for a long period of time. This new software part can be used with fifth generation iPods plus iPod Nano and gives parents the possibility to chose the volume level of the children’s iPods locking them in with a combination code.

Apple company received complaints concerning the hearing problems. This situation got so far that an iPod user thinks about suing Apple over claims that the MP3 players can cause hearing loss. Like always, Apple found solutions for their ‘unhappy’ clients by making these volume limiters.

With the increased attention in this area, we want to offer customers an easy to use option to set their own personal volume limit.

Prince 3121

Prince grabbed number one on Billboard 200 Chart with his newest album called ‘3121′, an album that has a pretty good success and which represents the R&B singer’s first album to debut at number one on Billboard 200 Chart. The R&B album has sold about 183,000 copies Stateside and the number continues to increase every day. This is what made Prince’s ‘3121′ album to be first on Billboard 200 and Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. This is fourth R&B album of Prince which touch number one on Billboard’s chart, in the following of the next three albums: ‘Purple Rain’ (1984), ‘Around The World In A Day’ (1985) and ‘Batman’ (1989).

Prince’s number one R&B album on Billboard 200 made Soundtrack - ‘High School Musical’ to fall down one place, on number two, and James Blunt’s album ‘Back to Bedlam’ stepped back from number 2 on number 3. Concerning Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart, there’s a new entry on number 2 - B.G. with his new album ‘The Heart Of Tha Streetz, Vol. 2 (I Am What I Am)’. Last week’s number 1 - E-40 ‘My Ghetto Report Card’ album - had a big falling on number five this week.

Daniel Powter

Daniel Powter, the new pop celebrity, tops Billboard Hot 100 Chart this week with his first single ‘Bad day’, bringing down with one spot the reggae celebrity Sean Paul with ‘Temperature’. I was expecting more changes on Billboard Hot 100 Chart but on number three is still Ne-Yo with ‘So sick’, on number four James Blunt with ‘You’re beautiful’ and on number five Mary J. Blige with ‘Be without you’ - the same spots like last week. By the way, Mary J. Blige is on Billboard Chart for the 14th week.

The pop singer, Daniel Powter, also tops iTunes Chart with the same song ‘Bad Day’, but the situation for the next four spots is completely different from Billboard Hot 100 Chart. On second place stands T.I. with ‘What you know’, on number three is Natasha Bedingfield’s ‘Unwritten’, on fourth spot is Sean Paul with ‘Temperature’ and on number five The All-American Reject with ‘Move Along’.

Three 6 Mafia

Oscar-Winning Rappers Three 6 Mafia say they are producing and recording tracks with Paris Hilton. According to the news, Houston, told a Memphis newspaper by telephone that the Hip-Hop group - Three 6 Mafia - was in a Los Angeles recording studio with the hotel heiress and reality TV star Paris Hilton. Is no surprise, because since the Hip-Hop group won the Oscar for best original song for “It’s Hard out Here for a Pimp” from the film “Hustle & Flow,” not only that Three 6 Mafia have received all sort of requests but also will receive a key to the Memphis city.

We ran into her at a William Morris Agency party and she said she liked our song `Stay Fly’ and asked could we work with her.
